Their supply of “joy crystals” (which, by the way, are the jellybeans' source of happiness and energy) was running low. These crystals are only found near the legendary Giggletop mushroom, which, according to jellybean legend, grows in the Whispering Woods. And guess who got volunteered to help?

Initially, I was hesitant. I mean, a quest for a mushroom with jellybeans? It sounded more like a fever dream than an actual adventure. But Bartholomew’s pleading wiggle and the promise of a lifetime supply of jellybean-flavored everything (including, apparently, jellybean-flavored air) convinced me.
